A legend of Charlottesville radio has passed away. Dick Mountjoy died Wednesday after a long battle with cancer. He was 61 years old.
Mountjoy began his radio career in 1964 at former radio station WELK in Charlottesville after attending the University of Virginia. His association with WINA began shortly after that.
